A coffee table isn't just for holding books and vases. Dendrone is a table in which complex geometries and digital fabrication technologies marry with simple materials to form a unique conversation piece. The name derives from its conception: dendrites found in nerve cells are captured trying to reach out and connect. Lightness and fluidity are achieved through an organic shape which resembles neural receptors, even thougn it is built with traditionally industrial materials.
