Explore This Amazing WorkTokyo Lounge Chair
Tokyo positions craftsmanship as a constructive act. Its fully visible sucupira frame reveals a process shaped by the hand, where manually guided lathe work defines the arms and back supports. Concave terminations and rounded planks articulate the joinery with restraint, reflecting principles found in Japanese woodworking. A leather inlay on the armrest introduces tactile contrast without excess. The chair reflects a commitment to artisanal knowledge as structure, expressing permanence through proportion and material integrity.
