He is capable of covering a wide variety of design and illustration styles, yet works hard to avoid following any set trends. Derek is a big thinker, and seeks potential within each and every project. He believes that any good design must have a strong idea behind it, not just aesthetics. For many of his own projects, Derek often incorporates a touch of his humor into the work. An eager learner, Derek is constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques so that his work continues to stand out.
For me, design is the only form of communication that often says very little but stands for so much.
