Design has always played a large role in Casey’s long magazine journalism career. She has covered everything from graphic design to machinery design and organizational design to process design. Her other passion, communication, has landed her on the staffs of more than a half dozen print publications, including Package Design, High Volume Printing and more, even though she started her career as news director for Chicago urban radio station WJAM, an AM counterpart to WGCI.
