| DESIGN NAME: True Colors PRIMARY FUNCTION: Album Design INSPIRATION: In the high-intensity modern society, people repeat the gray life in the same way every day. In fact, everyone has their own colors, so I want to use black and white to confront other colors to express the theme of people breaking the pattern and looking for real self. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is an album themed self-exploration and self-revelation. In the modern society, many things stay unchanged, people keep repeating in their work and life, and the original passion is gradually lost under the pressure of life.The album package is made of black-and-white pictures and edgy colors to express the theme of people breaking the pattern and looking for real self. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When visual design is combined with music, the two senses will be activated, and a dynamic picture will be presented in the mind. Along with the user's own mood, they will generate different ideas. This kind of attempt is really interesting. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2019 in Wuhan and finished in March 2019. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies . SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: CD box cover: 125 x 121 mm. Posters:500 mm x 700 mm TAGS: CD, Colors , self , EDM, Black and White RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I really like the feeling of self-exploration and constantly asking myself. I read a lot of philosophical books in the process and jumped out of the visual part to find things on the ideological level. When I understood, I’m able to visually present pictures in my mind based on the theme. CHALLENGE: I think the hardest part is how to combine the multiple colors with the black-and-white graphics to create some interesting ideas when looking at the images.
