| DESIGN NAME: Bridge PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Houses built in urban areas are often designed to be closed. Focusing on the windows leading to nature and the external space, we will consider designing a large open housing in urban areas. To ensure privacy and openness, it is necessary to avoid the intersection of passers-by and resident eyes. Imagine a bridge, the flow line and line of sight will cross up and down. It is obviously possible to guide each gaze direction, which is the starting point of creation. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A window is placed on the entire surface of the road, and the living space that floated up in the air appears impressive. In order to avoid the intersection of the passers-by and the resident's gaze, moving the living space in the upper direction, arranging the rooms on both sides of the first floor, and designing a floating feeling like a bridge. The function of avoiding the orthogonality of the direction of the bridge upward and downward is applied to the design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main life is done in the living space of the second floor which floats in the air. In addition, the surrounding daily life is done on the ground surface, and the shape of the trees and houses that are arranged in a planned manner effectively induces the gaze of passersby. Three-dimensional interior space expands eyes in many directions, ensures privacy and creates rich everyday life. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Construction company: Advance Architects Co., Ltd. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Site area:165.57 Size:203.57 Structure:Timber Floor: 2 Although it is often planned by steel frame construction according to the shape of this building, it is planned with ramen type tree structure considering low carbonization. The tree structure of Japan often places the proof stress on the wall, it is difficult to install a large opening, but even in the tree structure it is possible to design a large space and a large opening by performing a precise structural calculation ing. TAGS: House, Residence , Wood , Architecture RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Can houses with large windows live safely? Is it possible to solve the intersection of eyes of people and passersby by design operation? We are also examining the effectiveness of the planned garden between the road and the building. In the questionnaire, I am getting popular as a new urban type housing that can solve a narrow Japanese landscape. We regularly conduct a tour to explore the feeling of third parties. CHALLENGE: As a residential area in the city, it is the realization of a rich life that can be obtained with the openness of the housing, ensuring the privacy of residents.
