| DESIGN NAME: Miya PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electric Egg Mixer INSPIRATION: It has a highend exquisite shape and color, which give a comfortable visual and tactile experience. The design inspiration of the product comes from the growing needs of people. When making a cake, the liquid needs to be whipped as material. In the process of rotating and stirring, the liquid can easily splash outside, causing unnecessary waste and trouble .On the basic of the original shape, we add a transparent anti splash lid , so that people use it more convenient. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: MIYA has a concise streamline design. Instead of traditional control button, the electronic screen is more clear and simple .The retractable anti splashing transparent lid can effectively prevent egg white from splashing and reduce noise.MIYA is applied to different sizes of basins.A small opening is added to the cover which ingredient can be poured into without removing the machine. The support of the lid helps users save much effort ergonomically. It brings a new interactive experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An anti splash egg mixer is different from the ordinary hand beater.When whipping the egg white, the liquid won’t spill out with the help of the cover. In this period, you can observe the state of whipping the Egg white, thus grasping the proper time to add sugar. The retractable lid helps you adjust the size of the lid to fit the basin.This not only avoids wasting but also increases the beautiful and practical performance. Meanwhile, it saves time to clear up and reduces the cost of human resources. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2018 and was completed in February 2019 in Shenyang. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shell is made of injection molded ABS, the metal part is stainless steel, the anti splash lid is tempered glass.The high quality material can last longer. CHALLENGE: In order to accommodate different sizes of the basins, I encountered a problem that the design of the anti splash lid.Its retractility needs to be studied in the creative process.This product uses the silica gel to solve the junction problem which increases effectiveness as well as simple and beautiful performance.
