| DESIGN NAME: RIBON PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: There was no idea what I wanted on a commercially available ring and I imagined an ideal ring. We designed and produced the material after thinking about the design based on the concept of good quality and delicate appearance, delicacy of shine, comfort of wearing feeling etc. as close as possible to precious metal. It was difficult to complete as a ring, but completed the technology to make it beautiful every day making it everyday. Hand-wound with wire, or hand-knitted and combined with natural stone will extend the width of design infinitely. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The knitting ring complicates the refraction of light by knitting and increases delicate shine. Thin, light and warm, comfortable to wear.I have no allergic reaction. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: I normally put it on my finger as a ring. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: I thought about design in March 2013 and it was completed in 2 to 3 months. Currently it will be finished in about 30 minutes to 1 hour. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: hand-knitting with crochet k14 gold filled wire SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 13mm×1mm It depends on the number of the ring TAGS: ring, kniting, k14gf, gold RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Chain knitting a 0.4 mm 14 k gold filled wire with knitting needles like yarns. We knit double for strength. At the end, cut through the wire while winding it three to four times as a design. Prepare with size and shape. CHALLENGE: Do not fail because it is expensive gold filled wire to make up. Cut it smoothly so that the end of the wire pops out and does not hit your fingers.
