| DESIGN NAME: Elegant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Speaker INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from the sun. The light of sun brings warmness and energy. From the top view, Royole circular logo, divergent arcs display and acoustics meshes are Royole’s creative technology, which is in the passing concern. The design language of a curved divergent conforms to the basic principle of optics and acoustics. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The 100 degree curved screen highlights a larger visual display for a multi-angle visual experience. The camera has lifting and rotating functions to meet the needs of multi-angle environmental monitoring. With professional stereo quality, 100 degree arc screen interaction, 180 degree video surveillance and 360 degree voice interaction, this elegant smart speaker creates a convenient, safe and warm family environment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: There is no buttons for switching. Plug in the power to switch. Main interface provides three banner rotation. Click banners to enter the song, video, home lighting control module. Voice "Alexa" wake-up, can support English songs, chat dialogue. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Flexible OLED material: Lithe, Thin (0.01 mm); Colorful Flexible touch material: Thin (0.04 mm); Flexible SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 130 mm x Depth 385 mm x Height 148 mm TAGS: Home Smart Speaker, Elegant, High-end, User Experience RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The flexible display screen is only 0.01mm thick, which needs to be tested in many dimensions such as luminescence, ductility, mechanical attenuation and so on. Flexible display can expand the display perspective, enrich content and add new interaction ways. After researched repeatedly, the arc angle of 100 degrees is chosen. Hidden cameras removes the feeling of surveillance. The camera rotation function expands the visual extension as most as possible. Impact: The exploration of arc interaction brings new experience to users and new impact to the smart speaker industry. CHALLENGE: This is a smart speaker with flexible display with no similar products on the market. The team need to define the appearance and interaction. The flexible display can bring perfect visual experience and touch interaction. But how to find the best suitable and reasonable visual direction and awesome touch interaction with gesture recognition is a great challenge. Auditory experience is significant for smart speakers. The team need to interpret good sound quality solutions in a limited decibel range. It is a challenge for designer in aesthetics and design expression to fully displays the characteristics of flexible display and integrates perfectly into the family environment.
