| DESIGN NAME: Mount Longhu Qixiu Academy PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel INSPIRATION: The design inspiration of this case originates from aoist culture. Designers simplify the traditional architectural form, making it present both modern and traditional cultural atmosphere. Around the seven self-cultivation themes of morality, diet, kungfu, calligraphy, incense, music and floriculture, we materialize the design concept into space elements in the form of soft loading and display to create a spiritual purified land for the impetuous urban people to take care of their body and mind. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mount Longhu Qixiu Academy is a theme hotel located in the World Natural Heritage Scenic Area. The whole project is based on the healthy culture of Taoism. Designers proceed from the local humanistic characteristics and re-artistic processing on the basis of the original ecology. Through well-ordered display of utensils and simple and nostalgic Chinese furniture, shapes humanistic and elegant spiritual space while perfectly matching the brand's market positioning and business philosophy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On top of the reception room, the Big Dipper shaped lamp arrangement echoes the cultural theme. The background uses the combination of virtual and real, through the change of light and shadow, the dead branches are projected on the veneer of ancient wood to form a poetic portrait. This corresponds to the calligraphy decoration on the wall, creating the natural, simple and poetic theme atmosphere. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials in this project are marble, wooden floor tile, latex paint, metal paint, composite floor, art paint, etc. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 600 square meters. Designers implant Taoist cultural elements in the form of decorative furnishings, creating a simple and quiet space in the symmetrical atmosphere, and pursuing the realm of "harmony between man and nature". TAGS: Interior, Hotel, Commercial, Theme, Taoism, Leisure, Healthy, Health preservation, Natural RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Mount Longhu is the birthplace of Taoism in China. The main body of this case is multi-storey frame civil architecture. Designers have re-divided the original conference area of the hotel and integrated the seven elements and functions into the whole space. In addition, in order to increase the exhibition area and the hotel health speech space, they also carried out an open layout to provide a quiet and elegant place for residents to experience a new healthy life. CHALLENGE: Because of the short design cycle and large number of drawings, the cooperation between different specialties is facing great challenges. In addition, how to combine technology and art perfectly is also a big difficulty in this case.
