| DESIGN NAME: Nanjing Youth Olympic Center Restaurant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: The inspiration of space design comes from the flowing river water and the shape evolution of ancient city wall bricks, etc. On the top, the magnificent Yangtze River water will undergo the evolution of artistic form, and through the shape of arc-shaped dynamic photosensitive zone, it shows the rich changes of the Yangtze River water waves. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design of this case continues the style of the building, the overall tone is simple, elegant and lively. The arrangement and combination of irregular quadrilateral walls on both sides reflect the vitality and change of movement. At the same time, designers use light and shade changes to create a unique dining atmosphere in Western restaurants. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the facade treatment of the wall, the irregular quadrilateral arrangement and combination of the two sides of the wall reflects the vitality and changes of the movement, and more integrated with the Olympic theme. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials in this project are GRG, wood grain stone, wood veneer, metal fluorocarbon paint, glass, latex paint, transparent film, epoxy terrazzo and so on. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The western restaurant is located on the fifth floor of the Youth Olympic Conference Center and covers an area of about 1500 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Western Restaurant, Youth Olympic, Commercial, Elegant, Bright, Modern, Simple, Oriental elements RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The overall keynote of this project is unified and concise, which conforms to the design theme. In order to create a green, energy-saving and human-oriented space environment, the designers perfectly combine natural light and artificial light, and pay attention to the use of acoustic environment. Here, we can not only explore ways of better integration between city, nature and life, but also gradually understand the meaning of modern, international and art to space. CHALLENGE: Because of the particularity of the style and function of the whole building, in the design process of this case, we need to consider how to combine with the tone of the main building. Secondly, it needs to interact with the local cultural landscape, and finally conform to the theme of the Olympic Games.
