| DESIGN NAME: Gold Mantis Business School PRIMARY FUNCTION: Business School INSPIRATION: The overall design idea of golden mantis business school is to reshape, change and surpass. The unique cultural connotation of the school is fully extracted, and the corporate culture and campus culture are organically implanted to precipitate the humanistic tradition of the world business school and create an international, modern and humanized space design atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This case not only brings a more international style to the whole campus, but also a work of tribute to Harvard Business School. In the depiction of interior decoration details, we strictly follow the design purpose of people-oriented, green and healthy, cost-saving. The combination of ancient cultural charm and modern fashionable interior decoration is the dominant idea of design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Soft-wear artworks are purchased and placed by designers themselves. It can be said that every detail is devoted to the enthusiasm and sweat of designers. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the field of technology, material, soft clothing, lighting and other professional design fields, there are great innovations and integration, and even bold use of materials. Fireproof board and melamine board were used instead of traditional wood veneer. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Golden Mantis Business School is located in Dushu Lake Campus of Suzhou University. The building is divided into two construction phases, with a total floor area of 27639.42 square meters. The first phase was completed in September 2015, which covered 10360.58 square meters. It integrates classrooms, multi-functional lecture halls, reading rooms, cafes and restaurants, and can train 1000 people at the same time. TAGS: Interior, Business School, Study, Freedom, Elite, Natural, Modern, Open, Comfortable RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With its own architectural decoration expertise, Golden Mantis pays tribute to Harvard, a world famous university, with the design goal of "knocking the door of success". The century-old building was brought into the campus of the Soochow University to complement its traditional German architecture. It not only brings a more international style to the whole campus, but also a work of tribute to Harvard Business School. At the same time, it reveals the cultural background of Soochow University, and outlines the development path of century-old history and future of the school. CHALLENGE: In the design of the aisle, the designer boldly carried out architectural renovation, removing part of the floor, so that the original first floor of the aisle into an empty aisle, walking in front of the broad landing window as if they had come to Hogwarts Magic College.
