| DESIGN NAME: Liberty Stadium PRIMARY FUNCTION: Stadium INSPIRATION: By keeping the main concept, which demonstrates the lightness of the structure to the audiences, we can transfer the forces properly. In addition, how can we use the structure as an architectural element and show this conjunction in the work.The expression of that structure can be inherent to the architectural language of the building . UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The importance of open, closed, and semi-closed spaces to circulate the audiences and sense more closely to structures, which are not only designed as structural elements, they have an aesthetic role and define spaces. They have been used, for example, by designing the pedestals, we were able to provide platforms for the audience to sit down, which could be a link between architecture and structure. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: the Project started in October 2018 and finished in January 2019 in Tehran (IUST). PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this project, lightweight aggregates were used to reduce weight of structural elements and optimize themŲIn addition, the pre-fabrication system used to produce repeating elements. In fact, part of the production in the factory and the assembly of parts in the site is done. Despite the perception of prefabrication, there are numerous benefits to this type of construction like: 1-Eco-Friendly Modular construction is often commended for energy efficiency and sustainable construction 2- Financial Savings 3-Flexibility Modular construction can be easily be disassembled and relocated to different sites. This significantly reduces the demand for raw materials, minimizes expended energy and decreases time overall 4-Consistent Quality 5-Reduced Site Disruption 6-Shorter Construction Time 7-Safety Since sub-assemblies are created in a factory-controlled environment utilizing dry materials, there is less risk for problems associated with moisture, environmental hazards and dirt SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: it's about 185*165*50 meter TAGS: Stadium, Structure, Cladding, Conceptual RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Modular cladding design with Grasshopper to optimize sunlight, costs and form finding. Regarding the location of Iran in the earthquake zone, instead of using a basic element, several structural elements have been used that would not damage the entire structure if there is a problem for one of them.
