DESIGN DETAILS
DESIGN NAME:
The Crown of Avenue Sales Center

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Presentation Sales

INSPIRATION:
The project was inspired by an ink painting the Elegant Collection of Western Gardens created by Li Gonglin, a painter of the Northern Song Dynasty. In the volume, Li Gonglin and many literati and refined scholars are depicted in a realistic way as guests gathering at King Qifu's Palace in Puma. The guests include such celebrities as Su Dongpo, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fu, Qin Guan and so on. The painters either use ink to recite poems, or help the piano to sing and meditate on Zen, highlighting a kind of pure and open music in the world, not inferior to this literati's leisure interest.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project is located in an advantageous geographical location close to the scarce CBD area in Beijing. It is a commercial project with 50-year property rights. Its use function is not fixed, it is changeable, it can be used for residential or commercial purposes, and it can be used as a private board of directors of high-end clubs and enterprises. It can be switched at any time to meet the needs of different scenarios and has the possibility of various modifications.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Different from the nihility and vagueness of the popular Zen style in today's Chinese market, the new Chinese style in this case has specific details. For example, the rockery at the entrance, the abstract mountain-like flakes on the wall, the use of light gray Lanting preface stone on the ground, the image of bamboo forests and the mountain-like leather sculpture in the Sandpan area, these symbols complement each other to create the artistic conception scene of the ancient literati's elegant collection, but this scene is not an imposed input, but a random rendering, as a background, does not give people to use. Sense of pressure.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Commencement of design: April 2018 Scheduled Completion time: May 2019 Location: Beijing, China

FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY:
Interior Space and Exhibition Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The project mainly adopts a new Chinese aesthetic style, takes Chinese aesthetics as the base, adds modern fashion elements, and creates a space situational atmosphere around the Atlas of the West Garden. The expression of the old Chinese style is mostly the application of traditional symbols, while the new Chinese style is embodied in the realm, which can not only retain the essence of fashion, make the space present the bright color of modern space design, but also have the silent roots of traditional culture. They are mutually integrated.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Total area: 950 square meters Height: highest 7.95m, lowest 3.2m

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
In the design, we have met the contradiction between the budget and the ultimate space effect. How to create a very different space effect in the limited budget needs us to think about our own way. So we decided to highlight the effect of the main space, and do subtraction, some lines and patterns to simplify. In addition, the time point of the project is very tense, which is 1/3 to 1/2 shorter than the usual project design time, so we can only work overtime for the whole project team. During that time, everyone worked very hard and successfully completed the project with the joint efforts of everyone.

CHALLENGE:
As a sales office, a challenge is that we want to restore the situation of literati's elegant collection as the background of the whole space and make it a clue to surround the space. However, in the history of literati's elegant collection, there are not many written materials and images left behind. What kind of background board looks like, there is no trace to follow at all, so we can only collect some poems, essays and pictures. Set for reference, and expand associations, the image of their own elegant set in space. So there is no copy of the blueprint, which is a challenge to our ability of association and training.
