| DESIGN NAME: Glistening Light and View PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel Interior Design INSPIRATION: The space in Kaohsiung features urban scenery, history and nature. Through design, emotional shifts are transformed into concrete images and meld with the environment to acquire existential value. The texture, rhythm and atmosphere changes with space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Next to the Love River, Kaohsiung City reflects its brilliant colors onto the surface of the glistening water. The changing light of the day brings out a different presence, with the tenderness and romance enchanting the people of this gorgeous city. While Love River is the symbol and memory of Kaohsiung City, the Harbour 10 HOTEL is the full witness to this city. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Many imaginations and memories of the land are absorbed into the alternation between the new and the past, and await to be interwoven into the new encounters of those who have remained and sculptured into the pillars of local sentiments. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Under the light and shadow, the furnishings in the lobby harmoniously echoes the facade while the marble adorns the layers of space. The simple ceiling design dialogue companionably and easily with the lively blue-green tone, and modernity and calmness meld to highlight their respective charm. Through line and surface ratio, the visual and dynamic lines of the lobby are extended to boast the comfort and polish of a business hotel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space has more than hundred square feet.1-3 floor for public space, more than 4 floors for room space.The main building materials for marble, wood, iron parts, mounting and mirrors, etc. Kaohsiung's urban characteristics as the design of the benchmark, Kaohsiung representative color and materials into the space, so that space in addition to having a wealth of materials, more historical connotations. TAGS: Modern ，Simple ，original ，Morandi ，Kaohsiung RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The elegance of the red brick walls and furniture are finely and quietly revealed under the interplay of light and shadow. The dry bouquet displayed on the ceiling are refreshed with time and season while vintage tiles and leather distill the sentiments of time to manifest a cultured aura of subtlety and congeniality. On the other hand, the children's play area tells a story of the new era. Based on the observation of essential needs and analysis of user function, the original structure has been preserved, and the space presented simply and concisely. CHALLENGE: The gentle light in the room hazes over the bedside and calmly reflects into the gaze. Furnishings in similar tones line the wall to spotlight the eye-catching waterfall-like mural, visually guiding the flow of images and filling the moment with both leisure and tranquility. Illuminated by retro modern lighting, the rich texture and color of the fabric and the subtle restraint of the wood warm the space. Under the setting sun, the attention to exquisite details draws out an affectionate conversation between the indoor aura and the city view of Kaoshiung.
