| DESIGN NAME: Extract PRIMARY FUNCTION: Retail Design INSPIRATION: The case features one store ,one design concept, and the team shapes the different styles of the teahouse in response to the style of local store’s surroundings to express the brand story that can be a place for consumers to linger again and again . UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The antique design Santa Maria's Girls' School is designed to coordinate the interior and exterior, and the exterior is integrated into the interior space.With the same texture, nostalgia and old-fashioned shades of light, it seems as if you will bring everyone back to the old Shanghai in the 1930s, drink a cup of tea and drink a trace of history. Space frame extending inside and outside: Specially drawn from the circular window outside the female school, outside the compartment, I saw a painting inside the room. The Grouped tea drinking space use the broken space to separate one person, Valentine's seat, and three-five friends' seats. At the same time, to meet the gathering needs of all ethnic groups, people can easily find the most suitable tea corner in the space. The Starry embellishment dangle chandeliers to embellish the space, creates a unique memorizable drinking experience . OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Our Client beverage chained store in Shanghai ,the space design link to its local features in interior and texture ,people can experience the making process of a tea with a opening tea brewed counter , and tea court decoration as a extension of traditional tea court. Also the store gate has a unique round window design ,so people's view from both inside and outside display as a beautiful painting through the store window. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Imitation clear concrete paint, Natural wood ,Titanium brushed stainless steel plate, Semi-cast quartz brick. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 44 seats,in 137.85 square meters . TAGS: Retail Store, Tea Court, Chinese, Shanghai RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Outside the store ,there is a old Girls' school monument where famous Chinese writer Ailing Zhang lives , the window shape was derived from the building's window. The store wall texture also use old brush style painter to imitates the old Shanghai atmosphere. CHALLENGE: Though there were already so many Tea brands in China, Client wants to bring consumer a s unique life style, so the designer comes up the idea of Tea Court image and bring them into reality by decoration and pursue our client to copy this image on other stores, eventually the brand image is voted as a No.1 most-loved Store by customers in this local department store .
