| DESIGN NAME: Cafe Modi PRIMARY FUNCTION: Retail Store INSPIRATION: Inspired by the artist Amedeo Modigliani,By studying his paintings. the designer finds clues from the artist's relevant qualities and artistic language, and creates the artistic and avant-garde nature of the Cafe Modi space through materials, colors and shapes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cafe Modi is a retail store that combines the versatility of coffee and art sales. It is also a companion to the chi k11 art space. The product display of Cafe Modi can display related products according to the theme of the exhibition in the adjacent art space. It is a flexible commercial retail store, and related art activities will take place in this space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: By designing the specific position of the furniture, the designer forms a roundabout moving relationship on the plane, allowing consumers to walk freely in the space and interact with the space for easy shopping. Cafe Modi not only needs to solve the function of selling coffee and art derivatives, but also can form a unity with chi art space in design style. Therefore, the final presentation of Cafe Modi should not only consider the complex functionality, but also consider the artistic nature of the space and bring consumers a new shopping experience. CHALLENGE: The difficulty in the design process mainly includes the following two points: First, the shape of the land is irregular, which causes obstacles to the function setting of the plane, and secondly, the diversity of functions is reflected in this space (including coffee service, product display, activity).
