| DESIGN NAME: Golden Shower by Chinchin PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bar & Lounge INSPIRATION: An ostentatious lounge bar clad in mesmerising gold & pink that recreated the labish atmosphere & absolute indulgence enjoyed by the high society. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: a stand alone bar house in a pre war shop house cladd in pink and gold OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: we started by studying the existing timber frame support, consider all areas before we start the the hacking works as the site is a quite aged property. most challenging part would be trying to install the custom made oversize hanging display over the bar secure to existing solid wood structure. one we have firm up on the PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 3 months FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: custom design mild steel hanging feature & grille in gold & pink painted respectively. we have to select the pink fabric to go along with our pink painted interior. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 22ft x 130ft shop house TAGS: pink lounge bar larvish design bold minimalist RESEARCH ABSTRACT: to introduce a one of kind luxury bar / lounge to the public, to design a bar house in a narrow shop house. first off, we have to study about our clients main intention and requirement before we can proceed to the space planning & zoning.
