| DESIGN NAME: AFC PRIMARY FUNCTION: Garderobe INSPIRATION: My old garderobe have a single function and occupy a lot of space. So I thought about how to integrate everyday clothes, accessories, and related functions that people often wear to meet people's daily wear and make them easy to pick up. It also achieves a balance between function and aesthetics. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: AFC is an garderobe. It can not only hang the clothes but also can hang hats, scarfs, and bags. Furthermore people can put a piece of woodboard under the garderobe in order to put the shoes here. There are two rails above the garderobe. One is higher in front and another lower behind. It is convenience for the people to hang the clothes of these two rails in order to recognize clothes with different colors, types or seasons. This multifunction meets the everyday’s need of the people. This garderobe offers customers many colors to choose, which satisfies the favor and the need of the customers. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Above the garderobe there are two cross bars for people to hang clothes before and after, such as short sleeves in the front jacket or behind the colored black and white. The left and right round "ears" can be used to hang hats, bags, etc. Below the hangers, shoes can be placed, and the lower cross bar prevents the shoes from slipping. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The garderobe is made of round stainless steel and a piece of woodboard for it. The main production technology are steel to bend and welding. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: size garderobe 800 x 410 x 1600 mm woodboard 840 x 310 x 7 mm TAGS: garderobe, minimalistic, elegant, steel, useful, stable, furniture, interior RESEARCH ABSTRACT: People's daily wear varies. From clothes, shoes, hats to scarves, bags. Therefore, the goal of the project is to meet people's needs for daily wear and to integrate these functions. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design was create a balance between aesthetics, function, and constrction. With a simple processing method create a practical design, and form with minimalistic, unobtrusive, sympathetic and elegant.
