| DESIGN NAME: Humble House PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: Homeowners who have to travel around due to their careers, because they themselves come from Asia and Taiwan, are eager to have a quiet home with the oriental qualities of their original hometowns. By combining the simple textures and elegant elements of East Asian houses, we hope to show such an atmosphere in the details of the spaces, thus allowing "coming home" to be presented in a culturally integrated manner. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: East Asian Literature has called Humble House its home since ancient times. It is an expression of kindness and humility toward people. We hope that family will also be presented with this attitude. The open spatial layout allows for clear, direct communication between people. The texture of the walls is displayed in simple and mellow materials. There is an oriental scholar style and taste in the details of the home, welcoming those returning home as well as visiting relatives and friends. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Blending simplicity and elegant elements of East Asian, the space provides the business resident who travels a lot outside of Asia a feeling of home.
