| DESIGN NAME: Water For Life PRIMARY FUNCTION: Poster INSPIRATION: Humans, as well as the vast majority of life as we understand it, are composed almost entirely of water. According to the investigations performed by the scientists, 80% of the human being’s body mass is composed of this liquid. Without a constant and secure water supply, life as we understand it will not continue. We can live for weeks without food. But only a day or so without this element. Origins of life assumed to be in this natural element. Water is not only important to people and animals, but also to plants as well. So, if we look deeper, it is easy to see that if there was no water to feed the plants, there would be no oxygen for us. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Water For Life campaign focused on the fundamental significance of water for the life of all organisms on planet Earth. It wants to highlight the environmental problems around the subject of the natural resource and intends to sensitize people for the significant issue. Splash and droplet images are used as motives for the photo illustrations - they show a bird, a tree, a ladybug, a butterfly and a jellyfish. This pictorial approach attracted a hight level of attention to this print poster campaign to enlighten people how a precious source is essential to creatures. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Poster are posted in the outdoors, playing in the digital signage on screen media. These are posted on outdoor billboards and so on. Each poster is a continuum of movements of striking images, which eventually leads our eyes to the message of the public enlightenment campaign. Simple design approach grabs the attention of the people, and therefore creates a memorable one to remember that water is the most important part of our life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2015 and finished in October 2016, and they are posted on Pratt Show of New York in May 2011. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The poster is designed by using design softwares such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and installed on digital signages with screen media. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 841mm X Height 1189mm TAGS: Water, Life, Splash, Bird, Tree, Ladybug, Butterfly, Jellyfish, Precious Resource RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This artwork is a mixture of pictures, which each contains some splash water images. This poster experimentally illustrated and displayed creatures using splash and droplet images as if they were alive. These images play an important role in this poster. The creature is transformed by Photoshop and Illustrator. The creatures of water images tell us that we have to save a precious source for our future and our life and emphasize how the natural resource is essential everyday to human being and creatures. CHALLENGE: Water is in every living thing. In spite of the importance of the element, water pollution is increasingly becoming a major issue, and it has caused serious environmental problems. In order to make people aware of the importance of the issue; the 'Water For Life' campaign is designed to enlighten and educate people.
