| DESIGN NAME: Hong Kong Grand Garden PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Apartment INSPIRATION: The client is a native French living in Hong Kong with his wife and two daughters. He wanted to renovate the home with modern and minimalist design, with plenty of room for storage and a large kitchen. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A typical design of a small apartment in Hong Kong. Darren paid attention to the proportion of the space planning on the open kitchen and living areas. A foldable dining table is used. Another priority is the capacity of storage. Darren used a built-in TV cabinet to create a slim partition. Loft beds are designed for all bedrooms giving more space for storage. Darren used automated circadian lighting and climate control system for smart living.
