| DESIGN NAME: Annual Ring PRIMARY FUNCTION: Children Space INSPIRATION: After a discussion with the owner, the designer decided to create an independent and interesting learning space for the child in her residence and grow up with her. Before the plan, the designer's mind came up with the sight of saplings growing into trees, which is a growing expectation, the ring of years. The ring as the theme of the design, there is a form of moral. Take the circle as the element, layer after layer metamorphoses then rises one floor. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a world designed for the kid and his size, in which he can freely move, play, think, grow up and learning about himself and the other people.You can barely build this kind of structure in someone's home. From the perspective of promote children's intellectual development,It has great practical significance to the research of how can through designer's endeavor providing activity space with high-quality, rich vigor and secure to the child. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The structure produces spatial patterns contradistinction and highlights the main building. It's also an challenge of building. Used the architecture technology reminds us to think about something new between architecture and interior. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of Annual Ring : Diameter 3 m x Height 4.8 m. The height of the first floor is 2.5 m , the second floor is 2.3 m. The width of the stairs is 0.9 m. TAGS: interior, residential, architecture, villa, living room, library, Wood, Marble, home, memory RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The nature and traditional Chinese thoughts was the muse of the project. There is good meaning about the growth of trees and annual ring means remembering the time during growing up. So actually this project is more about creative thoughts and the meaning of life. We put our heart and the best wishes into it, that's how this project is done. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this project is when it need to be built. The shape of it is rarely seen in residential. So we have to search for the worker who usually handle with architecture. It's been a long time we select and communicate with those company. But luckily we have done at last.
