| DESIGN NAME: Art of Storage PRIMARY FUNCTION: House INSPIRATION: How to classify or unify various of objects and create a neat and generous space is a fascinating topic. In this case ,large number of storage requirements, door panels and kitchenwares can create a continuous spatial vocabulary. The form produced by different functions cause the rhythm, and they can connect different spaces together to allow visual extension and spatial integration. Create modernist spatial forms. To Creat maximize living space ,storage and modernist spatial forms. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Besides homeowner’s self-demand, we also need to provide the storage space for other family members usage on other floors. By breaking the original spatial pattern, we switch the public and private space, combine living room with dining room, introduce the day light and breeze, use same expression for multiple cabinets to make space extend. The daily essentials are will placed in the uniform wall. It looks gentle and elegant, but a new world after opening. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The styling of doors, cabinets, and walls is transformed into the form of modernism. Connected different space and visually extended to achieve continuity and oneness. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To realize the Modern style spatial vocabulary, the main cabinets and panels in wood veneered are selected. To emphasize spatial linearity , black laminate and black paints causes great contrast. And also white paint ceiling is the background color. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Space area: 60 square meters. Turn cabinets into a part of the wall decoration. TAGS: (Storage, Modern , Compartment) RESEARCH ABSTRACT: texture, Interior design, cabinet CHALLENGE: To realize the concept of continuous spatial vocabulary. Partitioned the length of space,modulated large number of cabinet,door panels was very hard. And make visual extension useing different elements to combine different space is the solution.
