PRIMARY FUNCTION: Air Quality Control
INSPIRATION: The strong environmental concern allows the conscientious water control, taking it from the air humidity and using on plants or environment humidification control. It also uses safe fluids and eco-friendly materials.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Thinking in the future, the Sensia AQC is a clever hybrid that combines temperature control and air quality purification with lighting and vase to room decor. Unifies four benefits in one product. Integrates the home interior with both elegance and style. At the same time, the benefits of green light with LED are easily seen by durability and low power consumption, saving energy with superior light quality.
The control is remote and can be made by MideaApp.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The product is a hybrid between Air Cooler, Light and Humidifier. The interaction happens through touch control panel/display, remote control or app mobile. All devices are planned to allow the consumer to operate temperature control, airflow control in 3 levels, eco mode saving energy, light control in 3 levels of intensity and humidity control in 3 stages (water environment absorption, water environment preplacement and water re-use to plant nutrition). Sensors can read the environment and keep the local temperature and humidity stable, according previous setup.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project get started in May, 2014 in Brazil, finishing the development in September, 2016 in Brazil.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The manufacturing process uses the following technologies: metal stamping and plastic injection. The product receives in some parts that composes it, the painting process as well. The materials used are: steel, ABS plastic, PPS, polyacetal and PP, polyester film and LEDs.

CHALLENGE: The greatest project's challenges are integrate the air conditioner to the environment in a very friendly way through a light and then humanize the technology for sustainability, using the air conditioning principles as a platform to adding the humidity control and control the plants nutrition.
