| DESIGN NAME: Treasure Mountain 64 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential space INSPIRATION: Listen carefully to the whisper of the mountains. Feel your heartbeats. The design adopts the techniques of borrowed scenery from Japanese garden art. The mountain scenery outside the windows and the interior design blends into each other. The house becomes part of the panoramic view of the mountain range in the distance and the gradations of light and shade. You can have the glance of the phenomenal views all at once. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is said that change, impermanence is characteristic of life in the eastern philosophy. The nature is changeable at every moment. Surrounding by the beautiful landscape, it seems closer to the ancient saying. The broad and vast design with the unobstructed circulation shows the interpretation of the changing nature and the gradations of light and shade. You can relish life, this tortuous journey, through living the life here as a piece of a picturesque traditional Chinese landscape painting. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: During the designing process based on our customer’s request, we removed three partitions and turned them into one room with a sense of openness. We also selected furniture and ornaments of different textures and replaced the original sterile walls. The unobstructed circulation provides different requirements and functions successfully. In addition it creates a vibe of rambling through a timeless journey. The daylight shifts its tines every moment, and you can experience the changeful views simply by staying in the house. Fall in love with your own home through the transformation of time. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2016 and finished in September 2017,located in Zhubei,Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: As our customer cherishes her childhood memory staying in the traditional Taiwanese three-section compound where her grandmother lives, we designed one wall laid by bricks creating a warm, simple, unadorned aura. The time seems to stop here and the unforgettable memory lasts at this moment. Main material are steel profiles, metals, wood, marble, cement finish, and tiles. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 83 square feet TAGS: Residential space, Interior design,Borrowed Scenery, House RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Home is the most living exhibit. This tailor-made project, elegant, sophisticated and profound, beautifully represents the personalities of our customer. She will be looking forward to coming home every day wondering how my heartwarming changeful home will welcome me today. You are worth to be waited for even living alone by yourself. The very existence of home becomes meaningful when you heart seeks for coming to where it belongs. CHALLENGE: There is almost no obstacles during renovating this house.
