| DESIGN NAME: Luckia Casino Arica PRIMARY FUNCTION: Casino INSPIRATION: I was inspired by the ocean and the sky in the nights of Arica in northern Chile. That is why looking at the bottom of the columns you can see surf boards, higher up in the shaft of it you find the waves breaking which get later lost in the ceiling, which is a representation of the sea. Making this a distorted and symbolic representational point of view of reality and nature that transcends and transports one through this art. Creating a magical environment for more than entertainment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The most important part of the design is that we create an experience to entertain every person that walks in, into pursuing constant movement and change, because of a construction which can be appreciated from any side, being the ceiling the soul of it since it is vivid from every angle; while at the same time expressing the magnitude and size of the project, which transcends the physicality of it and becomes emotional, going beyond the medium of architecture and chromatic compositions. Also, Arica is a tiny city in the frontier between Perú and Chile, getting people to work on this project was a difficulty we overcome with thorough organization.
