RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The main agenda of Float exhibition space is to showcase innovative use of metal tooling and product. Thus the design of space incorporates advanced digital technologies including kinetic movement as well as CNC fabrication. In order to create homogeneous atmosphere through entire space, the lighting setups have required careful considerations.

CHALLENGE:
The exhibition is installed at the ground floor of MOEA Innovation center, which has already been installed delicate thin metal louvers on the ceiling finish. The Float exhibition is carefully selected its locations to avoid any obstacles on the building ceiling and installed without damaging any of existing utilities. The most difficult part of the installation is the kinetic movement structure, which is over 400 kg weight hanged from the ceiling with all kinetic motors and wiring of pendants.
