| DESIGN NAME: Keep Warm PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coaster INSPIRATION: If inspiration is considered as a starting point, it is the starting point of my design process that coffee and tea in big cups will cool down before enjoyed with it . I aimed to create long term delight of hot drink, used by candle flame in the design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The product is a coaster which performs its function basically, has figurative and rational design ,can be produced as one piece by the ideal thickness of stainless materials. Its unique property ; by formed only with circular lines as being inspired by candle-flame form in the golden ratio. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Keep Warm is a tabletop accessory, Tealight candle is placed on the top of the Keep Warm, then we can drink hot for a long time by putting our drink on top. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project is finished 2017 Turkey, Ankara The project started in January 2017 in Ankara and finished in January 2018 in Ankara, the product is on sale at my site. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Sheet metal laser cutting, power sanding, Handmade . ( Materials: 1.5mm matte stainless sheet metal ) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 103mm x Height 35mm/ Acetate packaging TAGS: keepwarm, candleholder, decor, candle accessories, coaster RESEARCH ABSTRACT: 1.increasingly big cups are handy but hot drinks are getting cold easily. 2. Drinks are forgotten and cool when you are at work or at work on the computer. 3. We are in a hurry to drink hot drinks without cooling. 4.Cold drinks can't not drinking, it's a waste. 5. We want to drink hot in the cup for a long time without hurrying. CHALLENGE: Trying to fulfill all his function in a rational way, the flame did not change in time after the candle burned, it was difficult to determine the idial height of the product.
