| DESIGN NAME: Star Wars: Jedi Challenges PRIMARY FUNCTION: AR Headset INSPIRATION: Jedi Challenges is inspired by Star Wars - one series of the world’s famous movies. Combined with the latest AR technologies, provide the best AR experience to users UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jedi Challenges features a smart phone-powered Lenovo Mirage AR headset, Tracking Beacon, Lightsaber controller, and hours of Star Wars game play. The Mirage AR headset is ergonomically designed for maximum game immersion. With the life-size Lightsaber, users can experience a face-off against enemies with an opponents’ force feedback. The Tracking beacon ensures accurate tracking of your location while expanding and filling in the environment around you with immersive augmented reality universe. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To provide best price-performance and quality, we fine-tune all the production process including injection, NCVM and all optical parts. The system is made up of three different components: Lenovo’s Mirage AR headset, a replica lightsaber controller, and a tracking beacon. However, the experience is actually run by the Jedi Challenges mobile app, which runs on a user-supplied iPhone or Android device. The phone plugs into the headset with a cable, and is then placed into a tray that slides into the headset. The beacon sits on the floor, with the twin cameras in the headset using the reference point for its inside-out positional tracking. More than ten thousand modification and improvements, makes Jedi Challenges the best consumer AR devices. Created by Lenovo, Disney & Lucasfilm.
