| DESIGN NAME: The Residence of Moonlight PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: The design of this residence focuses on a casual and carefree style. The American-style open concept creates an overall sense of permeability and broadness. The large painted trim with the classic country spirit and the rugged exposed concrete coating are combined and applied as if an elegant beauty met a rude beast, sparking a special chemical response. Such contrast imbues the residence with a charm that is different from the overall style and effectively achieves a natural atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The owner, a female teacher who loves to travel abroad, enjoys the laid-back and romantic atmosphere of foreign countries, as well as the elegant style of the U.S.We adopted soft lines and relaxing pale-colored earth tones in this residential structure to create depth of different layers. Hoping everyone returning home feels relaxed and comfortable without losing the leisurely warm essence of the countryside. The open layout increases the opportunities for family gatherings and more experiences OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Chinese custom requires that windows should not be directly seen when entering the front door due to feng shui taboos, thus screens facing the entrance do not adopt transparent design, but use plain white art stone with partly transparent glass tiles to eliminate the feeling of oppression while step into the entrance, and pair with beautiful retro tiles to separate from public spaces and make the entrance an independent space. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Glass block, Imported decorative tiles, Imported handmade pseudo-classic coating, Iron pieces, Natural wire brush Sen veneer, Dyed white veneer, Cultured stone, Wood shutters. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The width depth and height of this house is 9800mm x 12650mm x 3000mm TAGS: Interior design, Moonlight, Taiwan, Residence, Vintage space. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This study focuses service quality scale of the five major faces. The study showed from the point of industry related person’s view. Participants are designer and customer. Results and insights is people with higher centrality of visual product aesthetics have higher value. CHALLENGE: The material of TV main wall is exposed concrete with neat iron pieces, the overall tone is gentle and serene. Open desk adopts wood veneer twill collage to solve the problem of wood veneer joint and make the surface of the desk more distinctive.
