| DESIGN NAME: House of Hungary at Rio Olympic Games PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hungarian Visitors Center INSPIRATION: Keywords: different, natural and digital , eventful but relaxing, clean but vibrant. The concept was based on the representation of water. Water is the basic element of life. The clean water is essential for sports and healthy life. Hungary is rich in water, thermal and karst water as well. Hungary is very successful in water-sports (swimming, water-polo, kayak & canoeing) UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: First time in Olympic history, we've opened our very own national hospitality house! We are proud, that we could take part in this project, with the concept and content development to the design of the interior spaces and installations, under the leadership of Gergely Böszörményi Nagy and Linda Szurdi (linszudesign). NAME: Budapest 2024 Nonprofit Zrt. PROFILE: MOBILSOFA designed the House of Hungary at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Budapest 2024, the client, was a nonprofit company that was established with the goal of winning the right to hold the 2024 Olympics in Budapest. One of the main elements for their argument for this right was House of Hungary, a national pavilion representative of all the potential this country holds. |
