| DESIGN NAME: Ji Space PRIMARY FUNCTION: Brand Space INSPIRATION: Contemporary Chinese lifestyle UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: What is the mean subject for contemporary Chinese lifestyle, this is a big question when we design Ji HOTEL, as an hotel, we present the Confucianism, Five Virtues: Gentle, Kind, Respectful, Simple and Courtly, as our concept of the hotel design. In Ji space, we present more about the spiritual desire and reflection. As a brand salon, like our hotel design, we keep simple, and clean, and with many blank space, all you can see in the space is about frame, it comes from the traditional Chinese Architecture Theory, from garden to window view than interior, there are layers to help you to leave the noise outside and back to inner. Art, tea ceremony, meditation, floral art , the action inside that represent the life, how to find the inner peace, as the modern sociality, that is hard to have, but when we look back to Chinese scholar, you will find their wisdom and vision, every understand comes from natural and every ceremony has it’s healing power. From the window, you will feel the time for the nature light, you can just quiet to sense it’s passing or you may like to have a cup of tea with your friends, or just take a look for the paintings as an gallery, all we want to present is a square of the world, and let yourself to experience and define, just like the brand’s spirit, we try to reflect new Chinese lifestyle. NAME: Vermilion Zhou Design Group PROFILE: Vermilion Zhou Design Group was founded in 2002 in Shanghai, by Ray Chou, Creative Director, and Vera Chu, Lighting Design Director. Later joined by, Garvin Hung, the Director of Commercial. Three of them leaded the team accomplished over 600 interior design projects in China and overseas within the decade, and obtained the high reputation. Their projects are including public areas, commercial spaces, hotels, club house, offices and high-end residences. Vermilion Zhou Design Group pursues the high quality for all interspaces, and always trying to meet clients’ requirements and expectation and also put more consideration in turns of space function and environment planning. Except for interior design team, we also have the teams of architecture consultant, decoration, landscape planning and graphic design. All the teams are aiming to build the higher brand image for clients to improve the brand impression of their target customers. |
