| DESIGN NAME: Kanibal PRIMARY FUNCTION: Font INSPIRATION: While creating this work I was inspired by Nikola Tesla's work. Letters are geometric, electric and all in different like Tesla's patents. With the beauty of different Kanibal letters I wanted to show that the wealth of our society is in our differences. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Most fonts are made in the way where all letters are created with one style and similar forms. Kanibal is something different where every letter has a story to tell. Every letter is created with different weight, style and form. When you look at text typed with Kanibal, you can see the game of shapes that Kanibal creates. Text is dancing in front of your eyes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project iteracts with different weights of letters. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Creation of Kanibal stared in January 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia and finished in October 2016 in Chicago, USA. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Letters are created in Adobe Illustrator, some of them are drawn by markers on paper then traced in Illustrator. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Font is available in .ttf and otf. format file. For Windows and Mac. Made in Latin and Cyrilic. TAGS: Kanibal, Font, Electric, Geometric, Nike, Typeface, Type, Different, Equality RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After exploring of most famous types in the world I have noticed that all of them are made in the same way. One style, smiliar forms and same letter weights in every type. I wanted to create something different than that, something that will not follow those rules. The result that I get was recognized by many big companies in the world and the biggest of them is Nike. CHALLENGE: The hardest part was to make bunch of different weight letters look like one stable project.
