| DESIGN NAME: MA770 Wireless Speaker PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hi-Fidelity Wireless speaker INSPIRATION: M&D Founder & CEO Jonathan Levine always intended to create a concrete wireless speaker. A lifelong fan of architecture, design and materials it was clear that David Adjaye was the perfect partner for the project. For both collaborators the outcome is not only a premium audio product destined to stand the test of time but also a statement that durability, permanence and longevity can and should exist in a consumer electronics world seemingly focused on disposability and obsolescence. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: M&D continues its obsession with materials and technology with its first wireless speaker, the MA770. Made of a proprietary concrete composite with dampening properties five times better than wood and ten times better than plastic, the MA770 delivers superior acoustics through its custom-developed, perfectly tuned 4” woven Kevlar woofers and 1 ½” titanium tweeter.
