| DESIGN NAME: Transformation PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jacket INSPIRATION: When I walk on the street in Prague, I can see a lot of young people on a skate and bike. This young people need the most comfortable garment, where they can keep all their stuff, safe in backpack, which is not too heavy and does not obstruct in their fast moving cross the city. This aspect inspired me to create a mens jacket associated with the backpack, two things in one piece of a cloth. The accessories, to this garment, are socks and sweaters, and they are inspired by painter Frantisek Kupka UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The jacket together with backpack is very practical for the fast and safe movement in a big city. Your important things are still with you, protected against a theft and oblivion and they do not obstruct to any movement. Sweaters and socks are exactly knitted by the muscles of the body. This is the right garment how young people can show their lifestyle, young spirit and attitude to the world. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Jacket, sweaters and socks are able for everyday using, to school, to work, meeting friends, for skating, cycling, walking. This garment is literally part of you. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2016 in Slovakia and finished in February 2017 in Prague Czech republic, it will be presented on the fashion show on 9. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The most important thing was perfect creation of cut/pattern. A lot of draping, constructing and modeling to create and fit perfect shape of the jacket and fix all needed functions. For example: every day wearing, the needs of young people, how the full and heavy backpack will be able to stay on the right place and do not disturb comfort of garment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Prototype of mens jacket is size EU: 52 Accessories, sweater and socks are still in the production process and have not been done yet. TAGS: street style, menswear, young fashion designer, backpack, new fashion, movement, skate, bike, city RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In my free creating I am interested in street style fashion, which can people wear everyday without compromise and fear, but still want to stay unique and different. In this project I have looked for the dynamics in fashion and how I could satisfy the nowadays needs of young people. They need to be free individuals, but still connected with friends and the public. They want to travel and move without barriers and a lot of things, just with their good backpack jacket, skate and good sneakers. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge for me, was create the new right technology and material because of perfect function of the garment. How to get together backpack like a storage and absolutely comfort jacket. I solved this problem with a harness, which hold full backpack on the right place. NAME: W. Vladimira Dancova PROFILE: I am a young fashion designer, currently studying at Colledge of Fashion in Prague. I am interested in street style fashion for young people, who want to show their individuality and attitude to world. Every piece of my garment is signed by originality and my name, however I haven´t got my brad company yet. My project was created only for my private using and presentation, to show people new and fresh design. |
