| DESIGN NAME: assetta_TE PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: I believe that this chair is innovative and original. This project is inspired by bauhaus architecture and design. the work, the research and the experimentation seen from the design concept are conveyed by pureness of forms and evidence of the function. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: assetta_TE is a simple and smart chair, with sharp and essential forms. The formal elegance cames from an old and noble material as the wood and tempered glass. The chair consists in two wooden elements: the ibackrest support and the seat / support, joined together through a tempered glass element. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The chair consists in two wooden elements: the ibackrest support and the seat / support, joined together through a tempered glass element. The media section of the wooden elements is thicker to allow the insertion of the tempered glass that is both a connection and a structural element. The wooden parts or the external outlines get thinner to lend the chair lightness and grace.
