| DESIGN NAME: The Elegant Conformity PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: Located at residential district in Humei, Tainan City and next to a big park, the villa has complete life mechanism and its grey-white design style makes it naturally a part of surrounding landscapes. The delicate design of terrace, balcony and courtyard bring into existence a silent place where the residents and natural environment interact harmoniously. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On the basis of the modern design style of grey and white, the interior design, with its simple characteristic, has applied the artificial and natural elements to the entire space by means of white walls with quality of wood grains. On the ground and second floor designed mainly for public life style, the designer creates a style of space including the east and western cultural elements based on the spirits of Zen and modern arts. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The delicate design of terrace, balcony and courtyard bring into existence a silent place where the residents and natural environment interact harmoniously. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the living room, a beautiful stone wall presents the idea of mountain; a large ink painting presents the waterfall; the carpet and leather couches present the grains of stones. The dining and cooking area, behind the living room, is decorated with sculptures in modern style, mirrors, glass, etc. so as to make the area full of human cultures and relationships. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 548 square meters TAGS: Residence RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located at residential district in Humei, Tainan City and next to a big park, the villa has complete life mechanism and its grey-white design style makes it naturally a part of surrounding landscapes. CHALLENGE: In the main bedroom, the artificial stone walls and wood ceiling, and the dangling lightings create the beauty of contradiction such as cold and hot, and yin and yang. In the rest of bedrooms, the beddings in wood grains and the dangling lightings are of concentrated visual effects, where the comfortable atmosphere turns the residence into a relaxing and pleasant place.
