| DESIGN NAME: Aouda 63 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Motor Yacht INSPIRATION: We want to create a motor yacht with its emotional and high-tech features, embodies our Sarp Yachts philosophy of sensual purity where functionality and comfort take centre stage. A balanced true explorer vessel with masculine exterior design and an incredibly original, organic, warm yet luxurious interior. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sharp and elegant proportion declined from architectural and functional concepts; a true way of being an explorer vessel with a strong contrast between functionality and pure forms of beauty. Inspired by the military vessels elements, it translates them into new modern design features, while some other details are a typical of a modern motor yacht, such as the master suite volume, completely dedicated to the owner, offering him the entire foredeck for his exclusive use. Huge exterior spaces and quite different use of the interior decks, this is what Aouda is all about. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Large Vip cabins, extremely spacious crew spaces and, still believing into its explorer vessels nature, space to host two 7,5 to 8 meters tenders and a 6 meters rescue plus and incredible amount of smaller toys. Even more comes from the extra features which this yacht may provide; an incredibly wide and fully usable Heli landing area, for all those guest who cannot wait to be on board and one al fresco type of Spa area, the beach bar and 2 swimming pools; one for almost 6m lengths and one for the owner at the most beautiful area of the yacht. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Design process started in August 2016 and finished in November 2016. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The yacht is designed to be manufactured with steel hull and aluminum superstructure. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Twin propeller round bilge displacement hull type, Abs A1 Commercial Yachting Service and Ams Mca Large Commercial Yacht Code Ly3 classification, steel hull, aluminum superstructure, 63 m length over all, 11 m beam over all, 3.10 m draft, 1000 t half load displacement, 14 crew, 12 guests, 16,5 knots max. speed, range at 14 knots 4000 nm at cruising speed, 110.000 liters fuel capacity, 20.000 liters fresh water capacity, 2 x Cat 1500 bhp 3512c a rating main engines, 2 x 200 kw Cat generators, 80 kw Cat emergency genset , Naiad 1 x 150 kw bow thruster, Naiad Zero speed stabilizers TAGS: aouda63, superyacht, sarpyachts, trueexplorer, exceptionalyacht RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The exterior design integrates into the wider environment succeeds in being strong and light at the same time, with its pure geometric surface treatment and its colors; this makes the yacht integrate with the surroundings perfectly, not because you do not see it, yet because you immediately feel that the object belongs to the sea. CHALLENGE: The yacht gives immediately a first impression and only at a second stage you may discover its other aspects, which you would not expect. You can surely tell it is a yacht though to navigate in any condition and then you start noticing all its design elements, which for sure elevate it from an explorer vessel to a true contemporary yacht. Steel details, toys, cozy interiors and spacious cabins; aspects which will make you say it is a spectacular project.
