| DESIGN NAME: NewsMuseum PRIMARY FUNCTION: Media Age Experience INSPIRATION: Since NewsMuseum aims to be an ode to the Communication system, its design takes inspiration from the Media world itself – there is a story in every corner. We invite the visitors for a journey through the History of Portugal and the world, reproducing the colourful and hectic environment of the Media with the use of high technology: more than 170 TV screens, 230 thousand lumens and a modern, bright design help our visitors connect with the Media system in unprecedented ways. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NewsMuseum is an interactive entertainment and knowledge centre, with state-of-art technology at its core, which is reflected in the interior design of the building. From the immersive experience of the lounge, a 67m2 interactive “tablet” with glass walls, to the Pyramid of Babel, a structure with over 60 TV screens broadcasting world news channels, our concept consists not only in creating aesthetically pleasing exhibitions, but also in developing a welcoming and pleasant environment.
