RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The furniture has begun by looking for a new aesthetic simplicity of the basic elements. And it was referred from the book of Emptiness(by Kenya Hara), Void(by Lee ufan), Less is more(by Mies van der Rohe) to make the basic unit that forms the object. Simple lines makes the void. The void can be produced a minimum, so even a small production can be obtained up to a spatial image. The empty part would implement the principles of communication. dots, lines and surfaces. The dot draws the line and the line becomes the surface. The minimum structure is a part of the space and a structure that holds the space of void.Simple lines makes the void. The void can be produced a minimum, so even a small production can be obtained up to a spatial image. The empty part would implement the principles of communication.

CHALLENGE:
After I finished my design, the hardest part was finding a good craftsman. Creating a chair that withstands the weight in a concise wooden structure was not easy to make. No one could easily say that this wood structure is possible. However I kept looking for a craftsman for few months. Finally I found two artisans who could build a wooden structure with good details. One artisan who lives in South Korea is the possessor of important intangible cultural properties and another artisan is the master craft man in Denmark. The chair could be produced by each of them and the work usually takes about three months to make the chair perfectly. For this reason, this chair has designated by one craftsman / one chair system. This is currently produced by one craftsmen in Denmark and another artisan in South Korea, so the massive production is impossible.

PROFILE:
What is classic? During the current trend, numerous events occur or take place at an extremely fast pace; the single constant variable that will be faithful to the basic will be the “Classic”. Therefore, even if they are not a century-old building or a classical music and furniture the element that keeps these current is the classics. Furthermore, furniture and construction consist of essential elements which are creating a new environment in space and also harmonizing the city itself. This “Event” is based on the basic design and configuration and the detail is completed by a delicate touch of craftsmen. Hence, “We strive to create the classic of the present age.”
