| DESIGN NAME: Pure Dancer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Environmental Optics R&D Center & Office INSPIRATION: No traditional lights are used. The beauty of the original structure is kept in place, and only minimal, sophisticated optics and acoustics are used. The curved landing in the center softens the edges of the office space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is for a professional LED manufacturer, the designer uses their product lighting as the centerpiece of the curved landing, hiding the light sources within the room, thus creating an overall impression of a giant light. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To allow a more sophisticated display of light source within the space and the structures. In conjunction with the smart controls of light-temperatures and brightness, the entire office becomes a light. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The air-conditioning and the cables and wiring are hidden within the partition walls. The acoustic echo was resolved using localized leafy greens on wooden gratings. Wood-effect panels adorn the beams, with the lighting hidden within. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 3450㎡ TAGS: banty Design/TSENG CHUAN CHIEH/Bingo Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Within the square frame, curved lines are used topically to soften the visual perception; this harmonious display echoes the oriental philosophy of ying and yang. By removing the traditional light riggings yet offering subtle, sophisticated light sources, the physical space itself takes center stage. CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of the design is persuading the business owner, who is a lighting manufacturer, to refrain from installing their own products within the space they are to operate in; additionally, the simplicity of the near ‘naked’ design was also very challenging. Mr. Tseng Chuan-Chieh, who has gone through experience in life, in practice, summing up, finally put together a system of knowledge, creating his own exclusive “Interior Design” of the Kingdom,Banty Interior Design Enterprise Co., Ltd , which was established in 1996 in Taiwan. As the General Manager of Taiwan Banty Interior Design company, in addition to establish a good image outside the goodwill in the industry, in recent years has helped many companies to assist many businesses, the creation of brand new thinking and a wider perspective, leading the macro " Banty Interior Team" towards a creative industry diversification.
