| DESIGN NAME: Big Click PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional table INSPIRATION: Very often rooms are small and big tables take too much space of it. Many people need a table for only half an hour a day, but big tables make the room full for 24 h / day. Big Click gives you more space to the room or more space to your table, depending what you need. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Big Click is a multifunctional table. It hides levels inside. It is a unique space saver. Normally a table has a top level where you can work or eat. When you need more space, for example for kids, you can push a little on the edge of the lowest level and it comes easily out. And you have a double much space. And if you still need more space, you push the edge on the opposite side of a table and you will have three times more space. Big Click can be used as a working table or as a dining table. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The table levels pop up when the user pushes the edge of the level with a finger. The table space can be doubled or tripled, according to the need. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main material is wood. The surface can be painted or waxed to fit the space where the product is used. The top level is a part of the construction of a table. Two other levels are placed inside of the construction, on top of each other. With a metal sliding system the levels move in and out easily. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: When closed: 450 x 1310 x 750, When opened: 1150 x 1310 x 750 (mm) TAGS: Clean, Multifunctional, Architectural, Surprising, Table, Pop Up, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Because building is expensive, it is important that furniture gives you a possibility to modify the space.
