| DESIGN NAME: East PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pendant Light INSPIRATION: Natural forms, natural in its essence, is a perfect sample of design morphogenesis. In my opinion, for example, almost any flowering plant, or rather its structure could be a prototype of the most avant-garde as well the most simple lamp. It possesses everything: the stem - the rod, inflorescence - diffusers or reflectors, and stamen - light sources. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pendant lamp East combines the elegance of oriental design with modern trends in lightning design. Fits perfectly in modern loft interior. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Pendant light could be placed on different hight, dimmable bulbs creats the mood of the place, and brass diffusor shimmers alluringly. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Pendant made of brass diffusor with notches diverging from the center , 13 Edison bulds E27 patron and bend metal tube painted in rust. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Diffusor diameter is 700 mm. Tube diameter is 80 mm. Length is 1500 mm. TAGS: Pendant, Edison, Loft, Flower RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Inspiration comes from the place, East pendant become the key figure of Flower Boutique. The main goal was to fit in the interior of the place, elegant and brutal at the same time and to produce a design that meets the latest trends from one side and be unique piece of art from another. CHALLENGE: Bending metal tube of that thickness was a complicated moment, as well as placing thirteen E27 patrons on it. NAME: PANACOM PROFILE: Main areas of work are urban design and urban planning, design of residential and public buildings, country houses, interiors, exhibition projects and product design. We also carry all stages of the project (design, engineering systems, landscaping), supervision of construction. Employees of PANACOM besides education in Russia had been training abroad in Delft Institute of Technology, Institute for Housing and Urban Development, in London University of Arts. Among the projects and buildings there are dozens of private houses in Moscow, Moscow region, other Russian reginos, England, Germany. Product desing was made for Valli & Valli (Italy), Grohe (Germany), Fratelli Boffi (Italy), Kantarutti (Italy), Atelier Sedap (France), Nayada (Russia), Lighting Technologies (Russia) and others.
