| DESIGN NAME: Exploring in Classic PRIMARY FUNCTION: Guild Hall INSPIRATION: In a painting made by a Russia-French artist called Ert'e, a clown wears a golden-silk scarf, which makes the colors, lines, and magnificent image, as the origin for designers who study the idea of space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer also investigates the classical aesthetics and modern translation; every corner and object in the building seem to dye and response to other's aesthetic history. The vision in space is plentiful in layers, in which gold, black and off-white are used to demonstrate modern magnificence. The aesthetic standards are dependent on changes of cultures. However, the spirit of aesthetics is immortal, which reveals delicacy under the heavy framework. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The lines undulate as temples and rhythms, making the whole space full of vitality. And sometimes lines flow fluently or curl conservatively. In addition, the feminine delicacy looks like a smart and graceful woman, symbolizing a status of spirit in modern era. The method of manipulating aesthetics is full of the whole space, making both airing and delicacy in full disclosure. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Metallic Art, Mosaic, Etching Glass, Wood, Hand Brush Paint, Latex Paint, Resin, Marble (Drama White, China Black, Moca Crema, Christmas Beige, Tundla Grey) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1500 square meters TAGS: art deco RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The architecture appearance remains a handsome-line style called Art Deco, and the interior is used another style called Art Nouveau. An element of grace is extracted as a feature for elegance from the Art Deco style, the element that possesses the aesthetic swirling pattern and that conveys rhythmic ability and vitality by summoning lines from the nature. It can be observed that the style is combined with the rigidity of reflection and the softness of dexterity. CHALLENGE: The patterns on the floor tiles are decorated by golden illustrator and black marquina and are combined with iron staircase. Such phenomenal skill balances the location of staircase both visually and spatially. Furthermore, the designer uses the skill of overlapping with surfaces as tools who plays around in ratios and scales. The designer also uses geometry and curves, via nodes being solvated by different materials, to show the strong aesthetic background behind the designer.
