PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Office

INSPIRATION:
The design in the hall is wide and deep long and there are two reasons for making this way. Firstly, the clients’ privacy is of great importance in business concern. Secondly, the tense emotion from visitors can be relieved when entering a wide space. There is a reception counter on the left side of the entrance. The body of the counter is constructed by natural stones, and the upper half of the counter is decorated with light band, the piecewise operations that reduce the existence of the massing. There is a waiting area with comfortable sofas on the right side, where enhances the warm feeling with the ornament of designed lightings.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The tidy order and boundary are present here. The working area for other colleagues are special as well. The designer uses the names from petals and clouds, and applies the elegant arc to the wooden desks, RPM glass screens, and some mechanical elements in the office. Every member has his/her own working space, the design that makes people feel unexpected relax in a working environment with the compact pace.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
At the left of the entrance stand a double-door and a see-through glass wall, confidently guiding the visitors into the main space. The spatial depth at the entrance hall not only protects the privacy of customers, but also eases the nervousness of visitors by the great spatial freedom. A reception desk is placed at the left of the entrance; its natural stone-made upper part dotted with light belts allows staged operation to dim the heaviness of the piece. At the right, a comfortable waiting area with sofas and warm lamp lights is available; the backgrounds of grey walls are modified with nice wash wall lights, adding vividness to the plain walls.

The project finished in Taipei.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Across from the wave-patterned carpet is a grant meeting room, a place where many office members brainstorm through important cases. To define the spatial areas clearer, the room is furnished with thick wooden doors, partially-glass made partitions, and spiral-patterned carpets. Meanwhile, to suit the business meetings taken place, a long, specially-made meeting table and perfect presentation sets are available.

CHALLENGE:
There is a large meeting room on the other side of the carpet aisle. The meeting room is a place for brainstorming. Decorated by multi-heavy wooden doors, the meeting room is bound by glass compartments and swirl-pattern carpets. The super long meeting desk is equipped with complete briefing equipment, the arrangements that can meet any high-end business and meeting requirement.
