| DESIGN NAME: Super Yacht Loft 74 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Motor Yacht INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from the lofts with two-story high ceiling. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: All started with the idea of developing a great new yacht concept, with the priority of creating a large play area in the stern with a large swimming pool and lounge area with wide view of the sea and with the challenge of having a great clearance between floors. The design would then have to be completely different from the already designed today. I drew a profile so that the upper deck was interrupted course, thus forming the double foot straight aft. Large side windows and large column form the profile of a harmonic way and aggressive. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Accommodations aboard were created for 14 guests and arranged in a large master suite, two Lofts Suites and four luxurious suites. Located on the upper deck and occupying an area of 124m ² and a full beam of the vessel, the large master suite also has a private office and more two balconies. The unedited Lofts Suites have access at main deck and have a private room, closet, bathroom and standing straight double wide outside view. Entertainment options: complete gym, library, spa and cinema for up to 8 people. Jetskies, heliport, tenders and even a submarine can be part of the fun. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2013 in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and finished in October 2014 in São Paulo. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The yacht is designed to be manufactured with aluminum / carbon fiber composite superstructure and hull, Yacht comes with hybrid technology and specifications without affecting the environment, especially sea. The power of the yacht is generated by twin electrical plus diesel engines. Thereby Reducing the Emissions as well as operating expense. The sketch phase allowed adding innovative elements such as the two-story high ceiling, With the 3d Model built, I started the rendering and the internal layouts CHALLENGE: To sculpt the loft two-story high ceiling into a beautiful, harmonious and functional yacht.
