| DESIGN NAME: Morrows PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry set INSPIRATION: Morrows explores all kinds of connections, through feeling, touching. Most importantly it explores new way to connect pearls inspired by our vertebral system. What makes things connect that should be pure and powerful. Vertebral is one of the most amazing things that God give us. The best framework in this world and the best way of connect. Repeating somehow is the best way to keep things pure and powerful. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design is not showing an ordinary string of beads or pearls; this is a new way to connect beads or pearls. It uses the same element to connect the whole piece of jewelry. The most important thing is by repeating those claws to represent the vertebral construction and the meaning of connection. It's a very easy way to product, and can easily to change the content (beads or pearls) to be a different item. And it still keeps a very fine jewelry looking. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Inspiration of Morrows's form comes from Vertebral. Equilateral Triangle is the most stable shape in this world and also present the skeleton that link with morrows. Intend to plate in 14K gold to keep it more bone colour and fancy. Translucence is the key feeling of morrow, therefor Morrows used matt white crystal or pearl to present, in the other hand, matt crystal and pearl can hide the steel string which links call the parts together. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2014 in HongKong and finished in December 2014 Guangzhou. And was exhibited in the Venetian Macau in January 2015. |

Pearl Necklace: Pearl width 8mm, Length 16 inch Earring: Crystal bead width 14mm, 8mm, Length 58mm. Short Pendant: Crystal bead width 14mm, 8mm, Length 58mm, 16/18/20 inch Long Pendant: Crystal bead width 14mm, 12mm, 10mm, 8mm, Length 90mm, 16/18/20 inch TAGS: Vertebral, Silver, Crystal, Jewelry, Zircon, Fancy RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The most Challenge part about Morrows making, is how to Link it together? how to Connect? Which material of the string? Steel! Morrows finally choose 0.4mm steel string to link all parts. But steel and sliver have different plating require, need to plate it in different way. The ending part of the big necklace, 2 pendants and the pairs of earring are setting with Zircon. It can hide the steel ending part and also make Morrows very delicate, and full of details.
