| DESIGN NAME: 01 Style furniture PRIMARY FUNCTION: Minimal transformable furniture INSPIRATION: The objective was to create an economical product ,easy to assemble ,transformable and multifunctional, long-lived . The 01 style design concept ,inspired by playing with Lego . This concept is Ideal to create endless solutions for living spaces according to the needs. Basically consist of two pieces; a board as I named zero and a bracket as I named one,so the number of the Zero-One pieces depend on what we like to create. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Minimal - modular transformable furniture,Simplicity , creativity, transformability , environmental compatibility ,Sustainability ,100 % recyclable OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is the result of a process of experimental sustainable design that relies entirely on the convertibility of the products. Designed in order to be functional and adapt to all needs. It is ideal to satisfy all of our daily needs thanks to the convertibility of function of the modular boards and brackets. It possible to create bookcases ,shelving, partition,magazine holder,... as well as seats or tables of different sizes. It can be more customizable thanks to the wide range of colours. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials: Board : Laminated melamine mdf board, Bracket : PVC Easy to clean - Just use water & soap; can also be power washed. Does not absorb water - 01 Style furniture will not rot, splinter, check or attract insects. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Product dimensions: The Board : Width 400mm xDepth 250mm x Height 400 mm The Bracket : Width 400mm xDepth 250mm x Height 400 mm Easy and quick assemble and disassemble and All the parts can be easily separated and transported. TAGS: Minimal,sustainable, furniture, interior, design, modular, multifunctional ,transformable,easy ,simple RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design is based on shape and function research through a minimalistic,modular and functional formal language. The perfect blend of aesthetics, comfort and durability. CHALLENGE: I have researched about unit furniture, and I came up with an idea of using the mechanism of Lego for a furniture idea. In this way,Users are encouraged to interact with the design and to participate in the creative process and creating various forms and functions like playing with Lego,they can play with its possibilities of combinations depending on their creative and playful minds and their practical needs.They are lightweight, easy to manipulate and rearrange as our heard desire. Inspiration for extendable elements derived from the form of a Lego; My favorite childhood toy. I also have researched about to create an economical product ,easy to assemble ,transformable and multifunctional, long-lived . Creative design idea made of recycling materials in order to have Eco friendly home decorating and helps to personalize home interiors living spaces.
