| DESIGN NAME: Elegance PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: The interior design is based on black, white, and gray to realize a minimalist style, and focuses on the rationality of the spatial structure and smooth circulation to shape a natural and comfortable flow. The depth of the field creates a subtle texture with layers, while the light and shadow lines are elegant and the atmosphere is fresh and serene. The minimalistic space and clean lines reflect the viewer's inner state of mind and thoughts. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: One more elegant life choice: When entering the master bedroom area, the first is the client's dressing room. The warm earthy tones of the imported mineral paint and the solid wood flooring create a warm, exotic vacation-like experience. Tasteful elegance: Natural light from two floor-to-ceiling windows maximizes storage capacity while preserving the best view of the National Taichung Theater, satisfying the client's collection of classic comics that have been on display for many years. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The multi-functional audio-visual room and a study room with full storage functions. It also serves as a standard guest room with a bathroom and fully imported bathroom equipment. The design team raised the floor to differentiate the seamless PanDOMO flooring from the solid wood flooring in the room. The children's room has a continuous tabletop and storage along the window side wall. It is linked to the bunk bed set storage plan on the other side of the room, and the structure is organized into a Lego-shaped continuous desk-bed set and clothing storage volume. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials: paints, iron parts, wooden flooring, PanDOMO, gray glass, sandblasted glass, wood veneer, system cabinets, thin panels, tiles, fabrics, stone, magnetic chalkboard paint, and so on. The color scheme is black, white, and grey to present the framework and structure. The design team distinguished between warm and cool tones according to the themes of the social and private areas. The social area is observed from an artistic point of view, with precise strokes, and simple lines that do not involve any interpretation to preserve purity. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The new apartment has a total of 152 square meters of interior with 3 rooms, a living room, a dining room, and 3 bathrooms. The space is divided into a social area, a private area, and a kitchen, which are independent and connected at the same time. The social area consists of the foyer, the living room, and the dining room, with island-style furniture and a kitchen island dining table defining the theme of each area and maintaining uninterrupted circulation. TAGS: Modern, Minimalist, Sleek, Mix & Match, Future, Bright, New Apertment, Black and White Movie. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In this project, the design team replaced the superfluous colors and modern decorative materials with a pure look. In the classic black, white, and gray tones, the focus is on the rationality of the spatial structure, the smooth rhythm of the circulation, the proportion of the shape, and the elegance of the light and shadow. The space is devoid of standardized furniture and incorporates gentleness and flexibility. The grayscale allows the sunlight and greenery outside the window to extend into the room, while the smooth liner lights lead to the extension of vision. CHALLENGE: During the initial communication, there was a slight discrepancy between the client's and the design team's imagination of the space. The key lies in the fact that the theme is 'sleek and not plain', which is difficult to depict in words or pictures. Creating a minimalist yet elegant space according to the client's expectations was a test of the design team's familiarity with artistry and spatial aesthetics.
